Knowing where boundary lines are, is a very important
part of managing your forest land.
 Line establishment can
only be accomplished through a survey by a professional surveyor.
Why is a survey important?
Accidental or willful encroachments can cause the
loss of land and timber. Well established lines prevent
encroachments from occurring. When there is work, such
as timber harvesting, being done on your property, accidentally
crossing over the property line to the adjoining owner could be a
costly mistake.
There is considerably
less risk of this happening if lines are well established.
Surveyed properties are generally easier to sell, and
when selling timber, timber buyers tend to pay more if
